Description: A Psychoanalytic Conversation about Childhood Trauma, Its Meaning and Impact

Presenters: Tom Barrett, PhD & Diana Rosenstein, PhD

Hosted by the ACP Extension Committee, on February 21, 2026, we will listen as two seasoned analysts converse about the issues they have raised in their articles in recent volumes of Psychoanalytic Study of the Child. Following the presentation of a short summary, Diana Rosenstein and Thomas Barrett discuss the implications of the similarities and differences of their optics on aspects of childhood trauma each raised in their paper. There will then be an hour for the audience members to present their comments and ask their questions.
