ACP Grants for Low-Fee Analysis

Grants for low-fee analysis are now newly organized and have a new name, The Anna Freud Altruistic Analysis Grant (AFAA). The ACP provides grant funds annually to support the low-fee psychoanalysis of children and adolescents.  . 


Each Grant pays up to $5,000 per year to support:

  • A low-fee analysis
  • Increase of frequency to intensive treatment
  • Addition of regular parent work to an analysis
  • Young adults (emerging adults, age 20-25) are now considered part of a child     analyst’s purview and therefore support for such cases will be available as well.


In order to qualify for a grant, the applicant must be a current ACP member. Grant applications are available on the website (see below).  Completed applications can be sent in at any time during the year, and they will be reviewed and considered as they are received.
